Statue of Liberty Necklace is made from a genuine coin.  Parts of the coin have been cut out so the Statue of Liberty is the focus.  Along the circular perimeter of the Statue of Liberty necklace are the words United States of America.  Although the necklace is made from a real coin, the coin is not gold but a special finish has been applied to the surface that gives it a shiny gold appearance. The necklace includes an 18 inch goldtone chain and is presented on a patriotic gift card that contains an area for personalizing with the new American citizen's name and the date of citizenship or naturalization.
